Benson von Lancaster is a stunning, 8-year-old. Long-haired German Shepherd whose family gave him up when they moved into a no-pet rental. He can’t understand why they left him.  Even so, big, handsome Benson is a calm and easygoing guy who has plenty of pawsitively awesome things going for him! For instance, he is housebroken, great on leash and stays close. When you stop petting him, he nudges your arm with his nose to say “more.”  Benson’s confidence is apparent, and his protective nature in the home warrants careful, well-managed introductions to strangers.  In canine playgroups, he is known to hang out happily, doing his own thing while avoiding trouble. Benson is good alone in the house and the yard, has lived with three small dogs, and knows sit, stay, come, and paw! Clearly, Benson has plenty to offer a wonderful home, and he is eager to be part of a family again!
